The Office of Career Development Services provides students and alumni with individual support services, including workshops, on-campus company visits and job fairs. Faculty are supported with in-class presentations on various job-readiness topics, resources for company speakers and internship contacts.
Career Development Services is proud to be a member of www.ccJobNet.com, a consortium of 12 community colleges’ career development and placement offices in northern Illinois. These colleges have a joint Web site in partnership with The Daily Herald. This Web site is free to both job seekers and employers and consists of two easy-to-use parts:
Faculty are encouraged to use Career Development Services for in-class presentations, including speakers from business and industry, and finding internship leads through the free ccjobnet.
