DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Under general supervision, plans, conducts and coordinates activities for parents with children participating in the Illinois State Board of Education Pre-kindergarten grant-funded program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Associate's degree in child development or related field.
2. Ability to relate to population of varied ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree in child development, early childhood education or related field.
2. Experience working with parents and families.
3. Bilingual in Spanish.
4. Knowledge of the Illinois State Board of Education Pre-kindergarten grant program.

STATUS OF POSITION:
Part-Time, Hourly, Grant-Funded.

HOURS TO BE WORKED:
Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

SALARY:
Hourly/Level 2
