REPORTING AND SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIP(S):

  1. Direct reporting relationship to the Dean of Academic Serivces & Counseling. the Director assists the Dean by managing multiple and competing enrollment issues.
  2. Direct supervisory relationship with Admissions and Enrollment Services.

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

The Director provides leadership in enrollment, recruitment, registration, retention, and records. Complete Position Description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  2. Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  3. Two years experience, with a working knowledge of an integrated computer system and currently used software applications.
  4. Experience coordinating multiple tasks with ability to meet established deadlines.
  5. Demonstrated strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with ability to maintain confidentiality.
  6. Ability to work effectively with a broad constituency and relate well with diverse students and staff.
  7. Willing and able to travel locally and regionally.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Experience in admissions at a college or university.
  2. Master’s strongly preferred, particularly in College Student Personnel, Higher Education Administration, Educational Psychology or related.
  3. Experience with management operations, business processes, or other related Enrollment Services principles and practices.
  4. Experience with strategic planning, developing and implementing operational policies and procedures.
  5. Demonstrated successful leadership, communication, team building and organizational skills within a complex and diverse organization.
  6. Knowledge and experience working with Blackboard, Web Advisor and Datatel Colleague.
  7. Ability to identify and implement creative solutions to problems.
  8. Experience working with culturally and intellectually diverse students.
  9. Experience coordinating registration activities.
  10. Demonstrated experience re-envisioning department operations and strategic goals.

STATUS OF POSITION:

Full-Time Administrative Position.

HOURS TO BE WORKED:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; some weekends and evenings as required

SALARY:

Administrative Level 2 / $45-$53,000
