Prairie State = State of the Art

Our professors teach in up-to-date, well-maintained laboratories and studios:

	Tech Center and other technical labs: A range of programs are offered in HVAC, Automotive Technology, Welding, Hydraulics, Industrial Electricity, Electronics Engineering Technology, Millwright/Machinist, Plumbing/Pipefitting, and Tool and Die.
	Computer labs: The labs are equipped with state-of-the-art hardware and software, backed by the administration's commitment to keep them current and the encouragement to utilize new technologies in teaching.
	Science labs: The well-equipped labs help professors and students explore the natural sciences. The College recently upgraded the physics lab as well as all four biology labs.
	Art studios: Creativity and technique are enhanced in studios dedicated to graphic communications, fine arts, and photography.
