Admissions Process for All Incoming PSC Students

  1. Meet with an academic advisor to complete the admissions application. The academic advisor for homeschool students is Wallace Bailey, Jr. To set up an appointment, call Mr. Bailey at (708) 709-3641 or e-mail wbailey@prairiestate.edu.
  2. Take the COMPASS placement test. To ensure the maximum potential for all students, PSC requires basic skills assessment in the areas of English, reading and math. For a listing of COMPASS test dates, consult the current class schedule or contact Mr. Bailey. In certain cases, ACT scores may be submitted in place of COMPASS. For more information, contact Mr. Bailey.
  3. Meet with an academic advisor to discuss the COMPASS test results, select an academic program and register for classes. To make an appointment, contact Mr. Bailey.
  4. Pay tuition and fees. For more information about tuition and fees, contact the Business Office at (708) 709-3577.
