College Monitors Flu Outlook

As the flu season is here and with the recent announcements concerning H1N1 flu outbreak, PSC is actively monitoring the situation and will keep students, faculty and staff updated on the issue. The Cook County Public Health Department and the Centers for Disease Control advise you to take similar precautions as you would during the normal flu season such as the three C’s:

  • Clean—Wash your hands frequently.
  • Cover—If you have to sneeze or cough, cover your nose and mouth
  • Contain—If you develop flu-like symptoms with a fever, stay at home and, if they worsen, seek medical treatment.
