Trustee Biographies
Jacqueline Agee, Chair
Jacqueline Agee, a resident of Chicago Heights, took her seat on the Board in May of 2007. Ms. Agee is an attorney and specializes in municipal law. She was formerly a police officer for the City of Chicago Heights.
A graduate of Moraine Valley Community College, Ms. Agee earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Illinois State University and a Juris Doctorate from The John Marshall Law School. She is a member of the South Suburban Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. Other community service includes volunteering with Eastern Will County Senior Services and previously serving as a state and local board member of the Police Benevolent & Protective Association of Illinois.
Brunetta Hill-Corley, Vice Chair and ACCT Representative
A resident of Olympia Fields, Brunetta Hill-Corley joined the board in 2009 to fill the remaining term of a resigned Board member.
Ms. Hill-Corley has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Spellman College, a master’s in Public Administration from Roosevelt University, and a M.A. in School Leadership from Concordia University. She is a member of the Illinois Association of Business Officials and founder and past president of the Sauk Village Classified Union.
Cynthia Somer, Secretary
A resident of Chicago Heights, Cynthia Somer was elected to the Board in April 2009.
Ms. Somer has an associate degree in nursing from Prairie State College, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Lewis University, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
She is currently a critical care registered nurse at Ingalls Memorial Hospital. She previously was a cardiology supervisor at WellGroup Health Partners of Chicago Heights and a nurse manager for Southwest Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Center. Ms. Somer is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing.
Dr. Kathleen M. Doyle, ICCTA Representative
Ms. Doyle, a resident of Chicago Heights, took her seat on the Board in November 2003. She is the Director of Education for the South Cook Intermediate Service Center, which serves the 66 school districts in the south suburbs. She also serves as the Regional Reading First coordinator.
She holds an Ed.D in Educational Administration and Leadership from National Louis University, an M.S. in Reading Education from Chicago State University and a B.S. in Elementary Education from Illinois State University. She serves on the board of the South Suburban Reading Council and on the Illinois State Board of Education's Reading First Steering Committee.
Phil Faso, PSC Foundation Representative
A Board member since 2007, Phil Faso is a resident of Homewood. He is a print management specialist with Proven Business Systems. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Communications from St. Joseph's College.
Mr. Faso is active in many community organizations including serving as a board member for the St. James Hospital Foundation, a representative on the Marian Catholic High School Security Council, and a volunteer for Infant Jesus of Prague Church and School. In addition, he previously served as president of the Southland Builders’ Association and the Southland Country Club Association, and was a board member for Chicago Heights Country Club. Mr. Faso is the owner of Dino's Food & Liquor in Chicago Heights, and CR Signs, an outdoor advertising company.
Wendell Mosby
Wendell D. Mosby, a resident of Chicago Heights, was elected to the Board in April 2011. Mr. Mosby is the founder and CEO of WIMP Wear Phations and Executive Director of Greater Faith Baptist Church. He previously was a marketing community liaison for Aunt Martha’s Youth Services and Health Centers.
Mr. Mosby is a graduate of Iowa State University, where he earned a B.S. degree in apparel production management. He also has an A.A. degree in fashion production from the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago. He has a certificate in customer relationship management from DePaul University and is a certified trainer in Ansell-Casey Life Skills Programs. Mr. Mosby is a member of several community organizations, including service as a board member of the Iowa State University Alumni Association Club of Chicago, Union Street Gallery, and the Rotary Club of Chicago Heights.
Marc Wiley
A resident of Chicago Heights, Marc Wiley was elected to the Board in April 2011. He has worked for the Cook County Sheriff's Police Department for more than 20 years, patrolling Ford Heights, Bloom, Rich, and Bremen Township.
Mr. Wiley has an A.A.S. degree from Triton College and a B.S. from Lewis University. He is a member of the Board of Directors for Harvey Brooks Foundation, a former member of the South Suburban Council for Alcohol and Substance Abuse, and a community activist for At Risk Youth. He also is a member of the Scottish Rite Freemasonry.
Ashlyn Snuckle, Student Trustee
Each year a Student Trustee is elected by the PSC student body to sit on the Board and provide an advisory vote. Ashlyn Snuckle is the Student Trustee for the 2011-2012 academic year.
