To help meet your educational expenses, Prairie State College is pleased to offer the services of Nelnet Tuition Management Company. Nelnet is a convenient budget plan for managing tuition and fees.
This is NOT a loan program; therefore, you have no debt, there is no interest or finance charges, and there is no credit check. This plan is a helpful way to cover your expenses for the year. You may pay tuition and lab fees in your payment plan.
The only cost to budget monthly payments through Nelnet is a $30.00 (per semester) non-refundable enrollment fee.
With Nelnet there are no monthly checks to mail or visits to the College's business office. Automated Bank Payments (ACH) transactions are made between Nelnet and your financial institution. They will be deducted from your checking or savings account (or whomever will accept this payment responsibility).
Nelnet offers:
- an online full payment option; the payment is deducted immediately.
- a payment plan option.
For either option, you may pay via
- Credit Card or
- Automated Bank Payments (ACH) etc.

How Nelnet Works
Using Nelnet is simple. Enrollment is online using e-Cashier. Simply connect to the e-Cashier website by clicking on the e-Cashier logo below and follow the online enrollment process. You will see the Nelnet Agreement, Payment Schedule and Budget Worksheet. Provide your name, 7-digit student ID, your address and account information for the person (yourself or someone else) accepting responsibility for making the payments each month. You will need to know the amount of tuition and fees you owe the College for the semester. Refer to your PSC Registration statement or call (708) 709-3577 for the amount. This is a very user friendly process with only a few steps to complete. Online help is available to walk you through the steps. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to verify your enrollment.
