Protégé Program
Through the Protégé Program, African American male students at PSC participate in activities designed to address and overcome the barriers to success facing collegiate minority males. The program encourages personal growth, promotes positive brotherhood, and assists African American men in developing a clear understanding of their responsibilities as college students and as productive members of society.
Protégé members are invited to participate in:
- workshops on a variety of topics, from navigating college to personal attire and basic business etiquette
- cultural excursions
- college and university tours (both in-state and out-of-state)
- social activities
- mentoring opportunities
Protégé members also benefit from priority registration, academic advising, and all of the services and resources offered in the Learning Achievement Center.
