POSITION:
High School Recruiter/Enrollment Advisor (Revised, formerly Enrollment Advisor)

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Assigned to recruit high school students within targeted market. Also, meets with students and prospective students individually and in groups to assist them with college enrollment, academic/career planning and course scheduling. These duties require the High School Recruiter/Enrollment Advisor to be able to communicate effectively with individuals and groups in both on- and off-campus settings. The High School Recruiter/Enrollment Advisor will also provide support to the College’s enrollment efforts through recruitment, academic advising, and retention activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education, College Student Personnel, Educational Psychology, Counseling or related field.
  2. Advising/recruiting experience in a college setting.
  3. Demonstrated ability to relate well with a broad cross-section of people.
  4. Demonstrated ability to travel independently.
  5. Demonstrated excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills with solid proficiency with computer software.
  6. Evidence of commitment and ability to work in teams with ability to maintain confidentiality.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Graduate degree in Higher Education, College Student Personnel, Educational Psychology, Counseling or related field.
  2. Experience working in a culturally diverse setting

STATUS OF POSITION:
Full-Time, Support Staff Bargaining Unit.

HOURS TO BE WORKED:
Monday through Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (hours subject to change based upon the needs of the department. Occasional Saturdays required.)

SALARY:
Professional/Technical Band C
