Workshops
FAFSA Workshop
Workshops are offered in the fall and spring. Spring 2012 workshops will be held in the Learning Achievement Center (LAC) on the following dates:
- Saturday, February 18 at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Wednesday, March 14 at 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Families are invited to attend a free workshop for assistance in completing the Free Application
for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) electronically.
Families attending the workshop are encouraged to bring the following:
- Completed or estimated 2011 tax information** (parent’s and student’s 1040, 1040A and/or
1040EZ federal tax applications and W-2 forms). - Student’s driver’s license and social security number.
- Parent’s social security number and date of birth.
- Records of untaxed income (welfare, social security, AFDC/ADC, or veteran benefits).
- Current bank statements.
- Current mortgage information for properties other than the family’s principal residence.
- Records of businesses, farm (if not the family’s principal residence) and assets (stocks, bonds, and other investments).
- A calculator (optional, but helpful).
**If comparable, 2010 tax information can be used for estimating 2011 tax information.
