Matteson Area Center

4821 Southwick Drive in Matteson, IL

Opened as a convenient off-campus location to accommodate district residents, the Matteson Area Center offers credit and non-credit courses, seminars and workshops. In addition to two fully equipped computer classrooms, the Center offers a variety of classrooms with activities daily, evenings and on Saturdays and Sundays. Other off campus sites include classes at Beecher, Rich Township and Bloom High Schools.

Prairie State College offers a wide variety of non-credit courses, seminars and workshops. It's all part of our commitment to serve the community by providing educational, informational, cultural and recreational activities that appeal to special interests. Students may learn vocational skills, enhance their personal growth or explore avocational pursuits.
